We’re creating memorable learning that gives people the opportunity to ‘learn by doing’ in a virtual world.
Learners can work through these modules independently; dip-in when they have a specific challenge; or complete them in groups for a more social, learning experience.
1. Mental Health Awareness for Sport and Physical Activity – NEW May 2019
One in four people in the UK will experience a mental health problem each year. Completing this course will give you the knowledge, skills and confidence to better understand and support people living with mental health problems, and create a positive environment that ensures they enjoy the benefits of being active and keep coming back for more.
The four modules – developed in partnership with Mind and UK Coaching and funded by Sport England and the National Lottery – will increase your knowledge and understanding of mental health, providing you with the practical skills and strategies to be able to:
- build people’s resilience, self-esteem and confidence
- adapt your sessions to make them more inclusive
- enable and support mental health recovery, and
- tackle stigma and discrimination.
The course is suitable for everyone who delivers coaching in clubs, community sport and physical activity – such as coaches, activators, sports administrators, front of house staff and volunteers – and has been awarded 1.5 Developmental CPD points by the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA).
Discounts are available for organisations who want to purchase multiple enrollments.
2. PE Confidence Modules
PE Confidence is a series of six, entertaining modules that can easily be embedded into a wider learning programme.
They are ideal for:
- Student primary teachers
- Coaches delivering PE, sports or physical activity sessions in primary schools
- Teaching staff, timetabled to deliver primary PE or extra-curricular activities
Through story-telling, they transport learners to the heart of a PE lesson to tackle common challenges – on the spot. The consequences of any mistakes are then revealed enabling practitioners to learn in a safe environment. Conflicting advice also helps them to build resilience.

This has given me plenty of ideas of how to manage disruptive behaviour without stopping the whole class’ learning. Really helpful and insightful video clips too.
Looks at different approaches and makes you understand more about your teaching and how to influence positive outcomes.
Really good suggestions with regards the range of possible approaches to assessment.
Discounts of up to 75% are available for organisations wishing to purchase multiple enrolments.
