1st4sport Qualifications is delighted to announce it will be exhibiting at the British Colleges Sport (BCS)/Association of Colleges (AoC) National Sports Conference 2012 which will be taking place on 21-22 June at Aston Business School Conference Centre in Birmingham.

This year’s conference has a theme of “Keeping the Torch Alive” and will focus on creating a legacy for young people from the Olympic and Paralympic Games within Colleges. The implications of the announcement of up to an additional £25 million Lottery funding to support College sport in Sport England’s Strategy to 2017 will be explored in detail at the conference. At the conference you will also hear from National Governing Bodies about new initiatives and participation programmes.

The annual two day residential conference is a collaborative event between the Association of Colleges and British Colleges Sport, specially designed for College sport managers and practitioners in UK Colleges. The programme will support them primarily in the successful delivery of Sport Curriculum, including essential updating from the main stage, best practice breakout sessions and update sessions and over six hours of networking time with colleagues and suppliers.
