Ofqual general conditions – what do they mean for you?

The Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Act 2009 placed a duty on Ofqual (the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation) to set and publish general conditions of recognition, which all recognised awarding organisations are now required to comply with.

1st4sport has reviewed the conditions and established an action plan, which will enable us to further develop our policy and related processes over the next six months. It is our aspiration that the impact of these changes on our centres will be minimal. However, it is likely that we will update some of our documentation and processes that you are currently familiar with to ensure our full compliance. We will communicate any changes and related implementation timescales via the Centre Enewsletter over the next six months.
