This qualification is equivalent to Level 4 on the European Qualifications Framework (EQF)*.

The 1st4sport Level 3 Certificate in Leisure Management is designed to provide learners aged 16 and over with the underpinning knowledge and skills required to be able to work as a duty or line manager within the leisure industry. The level of knowledge recognised in this qualification will enable them to operate in the leisure industry in roles such as duty manager or supervisor. This qualification is part of a suite professionally recognised by the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA), ideal in supporting an individual’s personal and professional development within the industry.

Learners are required be at least 16 years of age and to be able to communicate effectively in English* (this includes listening, speaking, reading and writing).
There are no additional pre-requisites to certification other then successful completion of the required assessments.
*Learners must be able to understand the requirements of the qualification and the information within the qualification materials in English without assistance

Fees are charged per learner and provide registration and certification for the qualification, as well as a 1st4sport Learner Pack, learning resources and certificate. Centre recognition, qualification approval and annual centre fees may also be applicable.
