The Intermediate Level Apprenticeship in Coaching is designed for those individuals who wish to create a solid foundation allowing them to follow a career in coach sport. The sport that has created qualifications within this framework is Tennis, who see the new framework supporting coaches who are employed within a community and/or club setting. These specialist frameworks have been designed to support Tennis in developing professional competent coaches.

- Any 1st4sport Level 1 Award in Coaching or 1st4sport Level 2 Certificate in Coaching can be used for apprentices working on sites where they are responsible for delivering coaching sessions in a context of a specific sport.
