1st4sport Level 3 Award in End-Point Assessment Principles

This qualification is designed for already qualified assessors who are looking to undertake the role of End Point Assessor for Apprenticeship standards. It helps to prepare the End Point Assessor for the delivery of end point assessments where they take on more of an examiner role than the more familiar workplace assessor role. Learners may wish to continue their professional development by up-skilling to become an internal quality assurer by completing the 1st4sport Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice.
The qualification is designed for already qualified assessors who are looking to undertake the role of End Point Assessor for Apprenticeship standards. You must be a minimum of 24 years of age in order to access this qualification, and be a qualified workplace assessor
Those holding the Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement would not be able to register for this qualification. They would need to complete the 1st4sport Level 3 Award in End Point Assessment Practice which covers assessment delivery alongside the principles of end point assessment.
Successful learners are eligible to seek employment in appropriate paid or voluntary End Point Assessment roles within their specialist subject area, assessing Apprenticeship Standards. Having gained further experience in assessment practice, learners could progress to the 1st4sport Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice.
Recognised centres offering this qualification determine their own fees, and they will vary from centre to centre. The fees charged should entitle you to a programme of learning and assessment, registration and certification for the qualification, a 1st4sport Learner Pack and an appropriate learning resource.
