This qualification is designed for industry professionals who have no assessing experience with a qualification to confirm competency in end-point assessment practice in order to allow them to practice as an Independent End-Point Assessor of learners’ knowledge and skills in relation to apprenticeship standards. The qualification is transferable to any sector the learner may wish to act as an end point assessor and provides a national benchmark of good practice for England. Learners may wish to continue their professional development by up-skilling to become an internal quality assurer by completing the 1st4sport Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice.
The qualification is designed for industry professionals who have no assessing experience who are looking to undertake the role of End Point Assessor for Apprenticeship standards. You must be a minimum of 24 years of age in order to access this qualification, and have industry experience in line with the requirements of the Standard you wish to undertake the role of End Point Assessor.
Successful learners are eligible to seek employment in appropriate paid or voluntary End Point Assessment roles within their specialist subject area, assessing Apprenticeship Standards. Having gained further experience in assessment practice, learners could progress to the 1st4sport Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice.
Recognised centres offering this qualification determine their own fees, and they will vary from centre to centre. The fees charged should entitle you to a programme of learning and assessment, registration and certification for the qualification, a 1st4sport Learner Pack and an appropriate learning resource.
