1st4sport Level 2 Award in Applying Health and Well-being Principles Through Physical Activity
The 1st4sport Level 2 Award in Applying Health and Well-being Principles Through Physical Activity is designed to train individuals operating within the sport and physical activity environment- either within a paid or voluntary capacity – to apply the principles of health and well being to a range of participant groups supporting healthy lifestyles in early years, children, young adults, adults and older adults, ensuring health and well being is considered as a priority in the delivery of physical activity sessions.
The qualification is composed of two mandatory components. You must successfully complete both mandatory components to achieve this qualification.
Prior to registration for the qualification you are required to:
- be accurately identified
- be at least 14 years of age
- hold or be working towards a regulated level 2 qualification in leadership, coaching teaching or instructing
- be able to communicate effectively in English3 (this includes listening, speaking, reading and writing)

Recognised centres offering this qualification determine their own fees and they will vary from centre to centre. The fees charged should entitle you to a programme of learning and assessment, registration and certification for the qualification, a 1st4sport Qualifications Learner Pack and an appropriate learning resource.
