1st4sports newly found status as an NVQ awarding body has brought about an exciting number of developments that will benefit you. We will be in a position to offer a small portfolio of NVQs in the near future, with further growth anticipated. Initial priorities & aspirations include the awarding of:
- 1st4sport Level 2 NVQ in Coaching Teaching and Instructing – via a small number of sporting contexts
- 1st4sport Level 1 NVQ in Sport and Recreation
- 1st4sport Level 2 NVQ in Spectator Safety
This newly found status will mean Candidates and Centres alike will be able to benefit from having effortless transition between some of our VRQs and NVQs. The 1st4sport Spectator Safety Suite is an example of this. The option of integrating underpinning knowledge and components of assessment from a VRQ into an NVQ means that the evidence required to achieve the NVQ is greatly reduced.
The 1st4sport Level 2 NVQ in Spectator Safety is the first qualification that will be made available and a campaign promoting it will be launched soon. Information on the other qualifications will follow shortly.
