The 1st4sport Sport and Leisure Industry Awareness Suite is a set of qualifications that addresses this and gives candidates the confidence to make informed decisions about vocational and career progression as well as employment opportunities in the Active Leisure and Learning Sector. Successful achievement of the individual qualifications in the 1st4sport Sport and Leisure Industry Awareness Suite will provide candidates with an appropriate depth of knowledge relative to the level of the qualification about:

- their rights and responsibilities as employees
- the breadth of the Active Leisure and Learning Industry
- the impact of public law and policies on the Active Leisure and Learning Industry and the organisation/company or sector they work in.

Who is the suite for?
The suite has been developed to provide a range of qualifications that offer candidates, at various levels of involvement in the industry, with an understanding of the breadth of the industry and their employment rights and responsibilities when working within it. If you would like to know more about the individual qualifications please click on the qualification you are interested in below.
1st4sport Level 1 Award in Sport and Leisure Industry Awareness
- Designed for candidates aged 14 and over
- Provides candidates with a foundation level of knowledge of the Active Leisure and Learning Industry, employment rights and responsibilities, and employability skills.
- Can be used in conjunction with the Young Apprenticeships programme.
1st4sport Level 2 Certificate in Industry and Organisational Awareness for the Active Leisure and Learning Industry
- Designed for candidates aged 16 and over
- A mandatory Technical Certificate for an Apprenticeship.
- Covering areas such as rights and responsibilities as employees and the impact of public law and policies on the industry.
1st4sport Level 3 Certificate in Industry and Organisational Awareness for the Active Leisure and Learning Industry
- Designed for candidates aged 16 and over
- A mandatory Technical Certificate for an Advanced Apprenticeship.
- Provides candidates with an advanced level of knowledge developing from the Level 2 covering areas such as: rights and responsibilities as employees, and the impact of public law and policies on the Industry.

Why offer the qualifications in this suite?
Part of Apprenticeship programmes
No other awarding body can offer you a range of qualifications that can be used in conjunction with the various levels of the apprenticeship programme. The 1st4sport Level 2 Certificate in Industry and Organisational Awareness for the Active Leisure and Learning Industry and 1st4sport Level 3 Certificate in Industry and Organisational Awareness for the Active Leisure and Learning Industry are technical certificates for those on Apprenticeships and Advanced Apprenticeships. The 1st4sport Level 1 Award in Sport and Leisure Industry Awareness can be used in conjunction with the Young Apprenticeship programme.
