Qualification Structure

The L2CCRL is one of a number of optional pathways attached to the 1st4sport Level 2 Certificate in Coaching. The 1st4sport Level 2 Certificate in Coaching is composed of four mandatory units and a number of sport-specific optional pathway units, one of which is Coaching Rugby League (optional Unit 6). The combination of the rugby league coaching unit with the four mandatory units creates the 1st4sport Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Rugby League. Candidates who have completed the 1st4sport Level 2 Certificate in Coaching via one optional pathway, may be able to claim APL for certain aspects of another pathway.

  • Unit 1 – Coaching Principles and Ethics (QCA Unit No: J/103/1020)
  • Unit 2 – Plan Coaching Sessions (QCA Unit No: L/103/1021)
  • Unit 3 – Conduct Coaching Sessions (QCA Unit No: R/103/1022)
  • Unit 4 – Review Coaching Sessions (QCA Unit No: Y/103/1023)
  • Unit 6 – Coaching Rugby League (QCA Unit No: D/103/3033)
