
The Advanced Level Apprenticeship in Outdoor Programmes is for employers to expand funded training programmes, to widen recruitment and improve retention, to improve the experience base at lower levels of the sector as well as to provide progression opportunities to and within the outdoors at Level 3.

Learners must complete the following competency qualification to successfully achieve this apprenticeship:

Learners must complete one of the following mandatory technical certificates in employment awareness to successfully achieve this apprenticeship:

Learners must complete the following Functional Skills qualifications to successfully achieve this apprenticeship:

Learners must complete a minimum of one qualification to successfully achieve this apprenticeship.
Any 1st4sport Level 2 Certificate in Coaching or 1st4sport Level 3 Certificate in Coaching can be used for apprentices working on sites where they are responsible for delivering coaching sessions in a context of a specific sport.

Organisations new to 1st4sport
If you are not already a 1st4sport recognised centre, you need to apply to become one. The first step is to check you can meet the Centre Recognition and Qualification Approval Criteria for the qualification (s) within this apprenticeship that you are interested in and submit the forms to us.
