Coaching cricket requires a high level of skill and technical knowledge. Developed in partnership with the National Source Group for Cricket, the 1st4sport Level 3 Certificate in Coaching Cricket is designed to provide cricket coaches with the advanced level of knowledge needed to prepare coaches to work one-to-one with players, as well as helping them develop teams, so they can bring out the best in their cricketers. Coaches are then qualified to be actively involved in coaching in one or more of the following environments:
- senior club cricket
- district age-group cricket
- county age-group cricket
- county academy programmes
- first-class cricket
- overall control of junior club sections
- the higher levels of school cricket.
