Developed in partnership with the National Source group for Squash1, the 1st4sport Level 1 Award in Coaching Squash (QCF) is the first qualification on the squash coaching ladder. The qualification provides learners aged 16 and over with an opportunity to study and be assessed on both the theoretical and practical aspects of coaching squash. The foundation level of knowledge recognised in this qualification will enable them to develop an understanding of the safe, ethical and effective management and coaching of squash. The Award qualifies holders to coach mini-squash to groups of children.
1The National Source Group for Squash is composed of the constituent governing bodies for Squash in the UK (England Squash and Racketball, Scottish Squash and Racketball, and Squash Wales).
