We endeavour to ensure a high-quality service is provided to all stakeholders.
Therefore, candidates who are impacted by recognised centre decisions associated with the delivery of qualifications or the assessment outcomes have a right to make an appeal.
Recognised centres are required by the established 1st4sport Recognised Centre Requirements to develop and publish an effective candidate appeals procedure. This must address the fair and considered handling of candidates appeals against procedural decisions or against the outcome of assessment. In
making an appeal, a candidate is reporting an allegation of non-compliance with published policy, procedure; 1st4sport recognised centre requirements and/or qualification criteria.
In the event that a candidate appellant exhausts the recognised centres appeals procedure and remains dissatisfied with the outcome, they are eligible to report the details of their appeal to the 1st4sport Quality Management Team (QMT) and should follow the 1st4sport procedure for making an appeal against recognised centre decisions.
The procedures related to appeals against our decisions are detailed in 1st4sport Appeals Against Procedural Decisions.
To make an appeal of this type, the candidate is required to complete the Allegations Report Form (Word) and forward it via e-mail to qmt@1st4sportqualifications.com.
Upon receipt of a appeal against recognised centre decisions we implement a standardised process to ensure they are handled appropriately, risk is assessed and corrective action taken (where required). This information is contained within the 1st4sport Allegations, Appeals and Handling Arrangements.
