As one of the event's award sponsors for the Junior Club Coach Award, 1st4sport Qualifications was proud to attend 2007's Coaching Northern Ireland and Lucozade Sport Coach of the Year Awards, held in the beautiful Belfast Town Hall in February.
Speakers included Stephen Martin the Chief Executive of the Olympic Council of Ireland, John Brewer from the Lucozade Sports Science Academy, Cllr Ruth Patterson who is the Deputy Lord Mayor of Belfast as well as the Dr Frank Dick OBE, who gave an motivational talk which was highly amusing and anecdotal, challenging and inspirational, making uncomfortable listening for anyone prepared to accept second best.
